DR. OLIVIA CHANG

NIH KL-2 FOR 3 YEARS AWARDED TO DR. OLIVIA CHANG

This is an NIH-mentored faculty career development (KL-2) fellowship from the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science on study titled “Pioneering Personalized Medicine for Neurogenic Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction in Patients with Multiple Sclerosis through Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.” Dr. Chang will develop innovative machine-learning models to predict overactive bladder (OAB) treatment outcomes and upper urinary tract injuries in patients with MS and externally validate it in a real-life cohort of patients. By creating condition-specific and patient-centered predictive modeling, she hopes to generate personalized predictive outcomes for treatment and counseling.
